Message From The President

Dear Friends,

As I think about the coming year, all the wonderful people I will meet, and places I will travel to, I can't help but be thankful for this opportunity. As a leader in this organization, I will give you something in return as well.

I promise to hold the highest intentions for the coming year, to be guided by Spirit, and to be a loving steward for the practice of Reiki. I hope to guide this ship with courage and compassion, co-creating the vision of the VRA, together with all of you and the Universe. It is through our collective efforts that we are making a difference in our state, in our communities, and in our hearts. I am looking forward to working side by side with each and every one of you.

This is a grand time for humanity. As the times change, and the world continues to be more and more open to Reiki, the opportunities and challenges that we face as practitioners and teachers also change. It is our mission to educate, support, and facilitate programs that will serve you during this monumental time.
As you know, we are embarking on a new journey, as a non-profit corporation. This doesn't mean that everything is going to change, but some things will. The organizational structure and governance is going to be new and we will be setting some new long term goals. In setting these goals, it clear that we will need all the help we can get.

Together we are stronger than when we stand alone. It is your special talents and unique backgrounds that will allow us to continue to grow and thrive in this endeavor. Your participation is appreciated at all levels.

I look forward to getting to know you better and learning what is important to you. I'd love to hear from you or see you at an event soon. It is my hope to share your vision with the rest of the board, so that we may develop meaningful committees and programs.
